CARMELO HOUSE

FAQs

What is semi-independent housing?

We are a referral based housing option. Unlike common transitional housing and other supportive living environments, we offer rooms to high functioning clients who want to live with others on similar journeys. You will sublease a room, and have access to a mental health coach ( independent contractor) who you can coordinate with to provide regular check ins based on your schedule. Carmelo house does not come with housing staff.

Who is eligible for your supportive housing program?

We are a referral based housing program. We require a referral from a partner provider ( case manager, therapist and/or psychiatrist).

Each tenant must actively be working with a mental health provider ( case manager, therapist or a psychiatrist) to qualify. Because of the way we are structured, it is important you come in with your own team. If you don't have a team, we can connect you with a trusted partner.

What services do you provide?

  • Daily Check-ins from a coach each evening based on individualized SMART goals, even on holidays. â€‹

  • 24/7 Crisis Management by a licensed clinician â€‹

  • Community integration

  • Safe and Sober environment

  • Accountability with medications

  • Access to adjunctive support (in house)
